The song came about in a unique way one Sunday Benaiah the Lead Singer was in church suffering from writers block Pastor asked him to say a prayer for the weekly offering when he began to bless the offering the Pastor told him he wanted him to sing The Blessing The band started to play and he started to sing and the song The Blessing came out of that prayer Not only did that song come out of that prayer but the rest of the album was written after that that's why the Album is entitled The Blessing
