16 year old Zac Reinke wrote and performed his first song at 11 years old. Zac loves to write lyrics with his piano or acoustic guitar at odd times. “I can’t control when I download the lyrics or music it just happens” says Zac when he tells his parents that he wrote “Lost with no Direction” between 2 and 5 on a Tuesday morning. He has been playing bass with his church’s worship band every Sunday night since he was 12 years old. At 13 years old Zac was asked to audition for an up and coming country music artist who opened for Travis Tritt. Due to the producers last minute change of playing with just an acoustic guitar accompaniment to a full band they decided to bring in The Nashville Star Band instead. At 14 years old playing lead guitar in his high school garage band, "Lonely Not Alone" they were the first all freshman band to ever win Battle of the Bands at Bonita Highschool. Zac was asked to join, the Inner Conflict, a Hollywood band fronted by lead singer/producer Gary Denham. This band played at the Spring Break Bash in Fresno, CA for a Redman Productions event. They also played at Valley Revolution 09 in Van Nuys, CA with the headlining band being Relient k.
Zac is in the Studio recording a four song EP. As of right now he is mixing his last song "Broken". He wants to show his passion for all kinds of music by choosing four completely different song types from his library.
After the release the his new EP Zac will be playing acoustic shows around the Los Angeles area. In the near future after getting his Band together he will be playing live events so please view the event page for his schedule.
Zac’s goal is to keep writing and performing his songs, and pray that someday he will make a living off of them. He is happy to share these songs with you and he hopes you enjoy them.
