Uncle Flatty

Uncle Flatty is a Connecticut based four-piece Roots Americana Alt-Country Rock outfit. Our brand of music ranges in feel from the unhinged power of Neil Young's electric eras to the down-homey rawness of the Gourds; from the sometimes straight ahead rock feel of Wilco to the introspective minimalism of the Velvet Underground. With instrumentation that mixes harmonica, mandolin, and fiddle with the usual 4 piece rock band, Uncle Flatty always brings a fresh perspective to the traditional sounds and feels of decades of American musical traditions.
