U-Krime 1

Straight from the concrete jungles of Bushwick Brooklyn comes a team to stir the mind in many ways when listening to them. Consisting of three MC's (RealmReality, 45, and Strai-Jacket) U-KRIME brings lyricism in its rawest essence while exercising the ablility to show true meaning to any beat. Since the early 90's U-KRIME has been grinding music in the streets of NY and have collaborated with some of the underground's best. In the beginning having started as a five man group to changing to just two mc's 45 and Strai-Jacket came across long time friend RealmReality to come together and form the triangle offense now creating a stir in the neighborhoods of NY and NJ. They have combined to bring a raw sound of lyrics on a mixtape hosted by Tony Touch (a native of Bushwick also) called "The New York Krimes Mixtape Vol. 2". The mixtape features the single "O.D." with Mobb Deep (newly signed to G-Unit). In the past U-KRIME has collaborated with producer Alchemist, Tony Touch and Tragedy Khadafi for a street banger called "American Me" which sold a few thousand records courtesy of Fat Beats Records in NY and LA. 2006 has a bright outlook for U-KRIME as collabos and connects build and the buzz gets stronger, U-KRIME looks to be one of the few hip hop acts that preserve the true sound of real hip hop
