About Time For Three
This groundbreaking, category-shattering trio transcends traditional classification with a cross-over appeal for lovers of classical and pops, with a goose-bump fusion of jazz, Brahms, pop, bluegrass, Bach, swing, gypsy and much more. Time for Three – violinists Zach De Pue, Nick Kendall and bassist Ranaan Meyer – refer to themselves as a “classically trained garage band," although the musicians are well-versed in traditional performance practice.
Classical music will never be the same once Tf3 releases their third album, 3 Fervent Travelers, on October 13th, 2009. Time For Three breaks all the rules with its crossover-fusion. Bluegrass, jazz and Americana fans will come along for the amazing journey that classical fans across the country have already experienced in concert halls. This enthusiasm for breaking down musical boundaries speaks to audiences of all kinds. To date, the group has performed more than three hundred engagements as diverse as its music: from featured guest soloists with The Philadelphia Orchestra to opening for kd lang.
