Portrait of The Khaoz

The Khaoz

About The Khaoz

Brooklyn, NY

Jeormen “The Khaoz” Carr, who is now 18 years old, was born in one of the most violent and drug-driven tough neighborhoods of Limon, Costa Rica. His music fits within the genres of Hip Hop, Rap, Dancehall, and Reggae; however, he is not afraid to try something new and unconventional. He creatively incorporates different sounds of R&B, Pop, and Electro into his versatile music. Currently, he is working on his free mixtape that is going to be released in the Spring of 2010 which will include “You Rock My World” featuring DSOne, “Superstar” featuring Divine and his “Go Hard Freestyle” just to name a few. He is going to record music videos in the near future to help promote his mixtape.

The Khaoz started his music career as an artist at the premature age of 14 and has performed in front of thousands of people since the age 15. He has been in nation-wide tour concerts and 2 music videos: “Mirala” by Sheridan and “Just a Call Away” directed and edited by Kayla J. Yoo. He was also featured in the album Lemonence Productions along with Costa Rica’s incomparable artists. Additionally, he has been in three nation-wide radio interviews in Costa Rica: Beatz 106, Fire Time and Radio Shop. His single “You Rock My World” featuring DSOne has continuous radio air play on Beatz 106. The Khaoz also hosted his own t.v. show Siquirres Kraziest Vibez on channel 21 of Cable Caribe in Costa Rica and been offered to be signed with Not Only Streets Records.

The Khaoz has the potential to be a Hip Hop/Rap artist according to A&R. At this time, he resides in Brooklyn, New York where he is working non-stop to expose the Costa Rican captivating flavor of music to the American scene as well as to the world. The Khaoz’s music sends a message of non-violence, being successful, and determination as well as speaking the truth on the issues of everyday life. In the future, he will be working on his album entitled “Daydreaming” along with the producers of aRNnine Music. As he stated in his “Go Hard Freestyle”, “…since I ain’t gonna stop I’m the bus that’s running express…I’m hard!” He is clearly the epitome of determination and ambition and he is so “hungry” to get his taste of the American dream.

“I don’t [have] to be the product of my enviornment. I [am going to] be the best of me.”
