About The Auctioneers
Palm Beach, FL
The Auctioneers are bringing their bold, brash, rowdy version of rock and roll to the masses with the release of their self-titled EP. This is straight ahead rock, heavy on the sing-along choruses, but in Exile on Main Street-style it's not afraid to take a dip in country infused rave ups or throw a hip-shaking groove around. After a few mercurial, murky chords at the start, the 5-piece band announces itself with the muscular riff of EP opener "Young Man's Blues," with a desperate chorus proclaiming "I got to get these devils out of my hair." "The Nothing" doesn't take the foot off the gas peddle, with a heavy boogie-rock guitar leading into another hook-filled chorus, complete with expert three part harmonies. "Back A The Bus" leans heavy on organ and slide guitar with a propulsive chorus, while EP closer "Straight On" ends things with the band charging ahead at Mach speed.
