Hi Teddie Cochran here, I was born in the Appalachian Mountains of Maine in the small town of Weld. Home of Web Lake & Mount Blue State Park. I grew up with my father and relatives playing Bluegrass and Country music. As a youngster and teenager I spent my weekends playing gig's with my father and the Midnight Ramblers. I taught myself to play the guitar at the age of 14 and started writing music shortly there after. After separation from the Armed Forces, I worked as an open range cowboy. During this period, I continued with my songwriting always enjoying playing the guitar and singing around the campfires and cow camps of which I lived and rode. The passing of my father in May of 2001 inspired me to pursue the publishing of my music. In most recent years I have had the enjoyment of being a 2007 Colgate Country Showdown contestant, a new band The County Line and having my latest three song debute on KAMU-FM 90.9 & Celebration Radio 101.5 KAMB. I have also had the honors of Ten Compositions in the Broadjam.com Top 10 listing in the 2006 and 2007.
