British Pop/RnB singer Tara j grew up listening to the likes of Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin and Mariah Carey spending most of her free time singing and dancing along she taught herself to harmonize and riff discovering that her voice well-suited the soulful sounds of RnB and mainstream Pop.
Tara moved to New York City to pursue her dreams. She left her family home in London, England and started working as a backup singer and dancer performing at well known venues such as The Box.
Her talents were recognized and she was given the opportunity to record with Grammy award winning producer Omen (Ludacris, Mya, Fabolous) where she would grow and develop her sound.
