The duet TABOO BAMBU, composed of Domincan Josué Cedeño and Venezuelan Paolo Tondo are releasing their new album CALIDOSO . Their music is a blend of their Latin and Caribbean roots and other rhythms like Reggae, Rap, Rock, Pop and World Music. The members of TABOO BAMBU grew up with music in their veins. Josué Cedeno is the brother of producer Roy Tavare and his cousin is Nelson Zapata, creator and leader of the legendary group Proyecto Uno. Paolo Tondo also comes from a musical family, his father was a singer in Venezuela and he started singing when he was eight years old.
CALIDOSO!!! Was produced by BAYAHIBE MUSIC Inc. by famed singer, author, and producer Roy Tavare. He has produced songs to artists such as Ricky Martin (Pegate) , Roselyn Sanchez (Amor Amor, Noche de Verano), Alejandra Guzman (Sienteme a Tu Lado) , Karime Lozano (Eres Prohibido), and Toño Rosario (Cortame la Vena). He has also produced Remixes for Cabas, Marco Antonio Solis, Thalia, Cristian Castro, Shakira & Carlos Ponce.
The first single is titled TODAVIA. It contains Afro-Antilliean & Caribbean elements that characterize the distinctive and unique sounds that is TABOO BAMBU. Other songs that maintain this musical fusion are: Si Tu No Me Quieres, Yo Me Enamore, Ya No Soy Nada, Vengan A Bailar (with Sandy MC of Sandy & Papo), Amor Amor (from Roselyn Sanchez’s movie YELLOW) and the cover of Tabaco Y Ron with Billboard & Grammy Awards winners and Nominees Proyecto Uno & Fulanito.
