About Soul Missive

Murrieta, CA

We're a pop/rock band with a twist. With three lead female singers, as well as a female lead guitarist, we tend to throw audiences off guard. We're never really able to describe our sound, but we consider it an advantage to be different from the usual crowd.

Soul Missive formed in 2007 in Murrieta, CA. Originating as a cover band in Temecula's Musician's Workshop, we eventually left and began writing original music. After taking first place at multiple Battle of the Bands in Temecula, we caught the attention of Engineer and Producer Wesley Switzer, who recorded our first EP, titled, Holding Out.

Since then we have played throughout Southern California, including gigs such as the Winter NAMM Show 2011, Port of Los Angeles Lobster Fest, the University of Redlands, the San Diego County and Orange County Fairs, the Temecula Music Festival's Battle of the Bands (we won), and the Coronado Speed Festival.

In early 2010, Soul Missive was recognized by film maker and photographer Jay Lee. He has filmed all three of our music videos, one of which took first place out of over 700 other contestants, on OurStage's Best Video Contest for the month of May. These videos can be viewed at or

As we continue on our musical journey, we're learning that passion for what we do, as well as support from those who believe in us, are definitely necessary to keep pushing on. We are so excited to see what the future holds, and are thankful for our families and friends that have remained faithful.

Thank you

Mary, Tara, Devon, Jeff, and Pat
