Blacker is a full-time touring singer/songwriter, and part-time Board Certified Music-Therapist for children with special needs. An emerging artist at the historical Falcon Ridge Folk Festival, she was also a nominee for a New England Music Award for female performer of the year, and singer/songwriter of the year by Limelight Magazine, and took home the title of Artist of the Year from My Rural Radio based out of Central PA for 2011. Blacker is currently touring behind her brand new, stripped-down 6-song EP, 'Perfectly Imperfect,' which she is selling to her ever-growing fan-base to raise funds to make music videos. She was invited to tour Germany last fall and sold out each show. 

Blacker has shared the stage with notable acts such as Sara Bareilles, America, the Wood Bros., Lucy Kaplansky, Jason Isbell, and Liam Finn to name just a few. She is regularly compared to Natalie Merchant, Joni Mitchell and Regina Spektor, but stations like WMVY, WCIB, and WAAF agree that she has a sound all her own.
