About Pat Kelly & The Core
Pat Kelly, multi-instrumentalist/songwriter has been playing professionally since the age of 12. Over the years, Kelly has performed with many talented artists. some well known and some who should be well known. By chance, Kelly and longtime friend and fellow musician Jeff Burke (bassoon) walked into an open jam at a local hotspot and met John Jamieson (keyboards), Adam Langley (guitar), Ron Bucknam (bass), Adam O'Connor (drums) and Cyndi Richards (backup vox). The chemistry was immediate and they formed Pat Kelly & The Core. All of the members of the The Core have produced, written, performed and garnered clandestine acclaim in the music industry as a prolific musicians, songwriters and collaborators.
Presently, Pat Kelly and the Core are in the studio with producer John Jamieson (Soundhouse, Shania Twain, Peter Bloom Band).
In regards to Kelly's songs,"...his words are vignettes, his voice and songs, with their many changes, make it impossible for one to peg him, classify him, as though he is consciously refusing to sound like something we have all heard before. This concentrated talent is rare."
