Robert Herndon Project

The Robert Herndon Project (RHP) is a Hardcore Blues Band born out of a never ending struggle for self-expression. A former studio musician in Southern California durng the halcyon days of hard rock in the 1980s, RHP was formed in 2010 by Robert Herndon after 20 years of absence from the music scene. During a recent interview with a Dutch radio program, Herndon said, "When I heard Albert King for the first time back in 1975, I was blown away by the level of emotion that he packed into his music. I was bullied as a kid and was never really able to express myself. The blues gave me an outlet for the pain and frustration I felt during my childhood. It encouraged me to pursue the blues and I've been playing ever since."
