Nice vocal melody's, the way they interweave over the rhythms laid down by the funky feeling guitar and the backing vocals (on the "Departed" song), you have a slight "Cake" feel to your melody's. This song may even do better in the Funk/groove channel bro. If I had to give you some constructive critique, I think it would be to turn the "bass" up slightly, it'll help carry the emotions given by your keys. But all-in-all, its a good mix and you don't have to change anything, I like both your songs and look forward to hearing more... rock on
