In June 2001, longstanding friends decided to form a Heavy Metal band based on the foundations of classical style, sidewalk in names like Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Rainbow, Dio, Running Wild etc. .. ..the first formation consisted in: Gleison Maest: Vocal, Matheus: Guitar, Fernando Cesar: Bass and Ernane: Drums, giving way to the embryo that later became the Odisséia, a name inspired by the Greek epic lived by Ulysses and narrated by Homero in the book The Odyssey, now addressing issues of stamp historical, social, daily and even medieval and Philosophy, while also of clear nights, drinking and Odes to the metal, the Odyssey developed his own style during the year 2002, decided to join another band member take the second guitar and giving more weight the consistency songs, Rodrigo Coelho took over the task in contribute new compositions that only came to add both technically as artistic, but after some internal differences there was an exchange of members and the band is consolidated with the following formation: Gleison: Vocal, Matheus: Guitar, JP Zampiere: Guitar, Andre: Drums and Wesley: Bass, came into study in 2005 recorded its first demo with 5 songs had an excellent approval by the local public Headbanger, opening they were marked way for new shows and a good spread of band by the state, but the output of other members has made the Odisséia entered into a hiatus of almost 6 months in search of new members that ended with the formation: Gleison: Vocal and Bass, JP Zampiere: Guitar, Dimas: Drums, which enters the year 2009 reinvigorated, marking new shows, preparing for his debut album and following in front with the flag of the metal in his hand.
