About Michael Zhonga
Bayside, NY
Michael Zhonga is an 18 year old singer, songwriter, producer, and performer living in New York City. His music is very mainstream and commercial, but has a strong foundation and core of originality. It does not all fit into one genre, but is made up of pop, dance, techno, and R&B elements. No matter what kind of music you are into, some aspect of his music will appeal to you in one way or another.
Michael is taking his music very seriously and has also taken it to the next level. Having released three singles, a homemade music video, and been featured on several internet and mainstream radio stations such as HotMix Radio, WDVL 89.5, Hellas World Radio, etc - he is not ready to take a break. He is now working on a self-produced album titled "Basement Material" - which will be sold on iTunes, Amazon, CDBaby, and dozens of online music stores early 2010.
He hopes this album and his music will show people that there is more to pop, dance and electronic music than many are willing to believe. He hopes to make some new fans along the way and introduce a unique form of pop music to the music industry. He, of course, thanks God, his family, and all of his friends and fans for the continued support and acknowledges that none of this would be possible without them :).
