The Master Griot Performance Poetry Collective is an evolving collective of master artists whose performance is centered around the spoken word. The collective is a core part of The Master Griot Project (MGP), a movement with the pure intent to create a viable industry for spoken word. The Master Griot Artists have traveled and performed nationally and internationally. They are multi-talented artists with unlimited ways to bring words alive and leave you on your feet. Every emotion each artist emulates and provokes, demands you to use it with the same intensity they delivered it. From laughter to tears from anger to determination to erotic fantasies dancing in your head, you, the audience are guaranteed to leave MGP artists presence renewed, revived, and determined to be the change that you are looking for

The talents of these artists lends them to be masters of the written as well as the spoken word. The combined gifts of this master collective provides an experience that stimulates all senses as well as provides a multi-service delivery system. The individual areas of expertise include, but are not limited to, music production, vocalists, anthropology, holistic health/healing arts, visual art, master jewelers, jingles, and marketing

Each artist is also has training in theatre and film. Their work covers topics from the metaphysical to life in the hood, all words purposed to inspire, empower, build effective thinking frames, and encourage growth and change

Each artist, committed to a better world, is actively involved in community outreach. Their activism, education, oratorical skills and perpetual state of learning allows each of the Master Griot Project artists to be excellent public speakers.
