About maddwest

cincinnati, OH

The Midwest is finally on fire, and the arsonist is a rapper Ben Beamon. Beamon, an American rapper who hails from Cincinnati Ohio, embodies everything that is good about hip hop today. At only 22, he's young, determined, and can flat out flow. The son of a deacon and a Sunday school teacher, Beamon has always been around great music that was always delivered with passion. It was at the age of 16 that he began to writing and performing rhymes with various local groups. By the time Beamon turned 18, he had begun to refine his style and developed a reputation as an M.C. to be reckoned with. After experiencing the many setbacks and personal issues that many young groups experience, Ben decided it was time to push forward on his own as a solo artist. With great determination, Beamon begin to promote his music everywhere he could. His song "Fredd Flynnstone" caught the attention of Maddwest Entertainment CEO Rashawn Jones. Since then, the race to make history has began. Maddwest signed Beamon to a joint venture deal, and has an aggressive marketing campaign for Beamon's debut album set to be released in summer of 2008. After helping launch many artists for over 10 years, Jones had this to say about Beamon; " After working with some great young talents, Ben is an artist who is refreshing. An artist who brings energy to the hip hop world that will remind even the old school listeners of what the art form was meant to be". 2008 is sure to be a year when the hip hop community is sure to be forced to take notice of this artist with top notch talent. Beamon says it best in his own words. "I've always been told that good things come to those who I tell people that I've been waiting for 22 years. I believe my time is now
