About LoKi BD

Besides God, music is life to Brandon "B.D." Dent.
He thanks and praises God everyday for blessings, talents and gifts to be able to even hear and utter words let alone write and produce music. B.D. has been surrounded by music since birth, he says "its as if he entered into musics life and that each day is a day in the life of music".
His father, Brandon Dent, Sr., has had numerous singing groups that have performed all over the midwest with home being Michigan with the r&b signing group "Sequence of Harmony". They most notably did tv drops for local channel 7 news during the christmas holiday season. When B.D. was old enough to walk his father started to teach him how to use his new Yamaha sequencer keyboard always composing the most brilliant music with a sound close to jazz, r&b and a little swing feel to it. If you Listen to B.D.'s style today, you will recognize the strong influence his father played on his life in music but the influence doesn't stop there. His uncle, Cedric Dent, is in the most grammy nominated and award winning singing group, Take6, in grammy history. But that's only half the story because they got there passion from his grandparents who to this day still sing even at the ages of 78 and 84.
With that background B.D. had no choice but to venture off into a world of music.
He began with reading music with lessons for the piano and sax in 1st grade and getting more into composing in the 9th grade. Continuing to hone his craft even in college he met with present day members of LoKi Productions, Evan "Eazy" Hall and Lamont "DoTcOm" Lively. They have helped with the maturation of his sound with countless colabs, mixtapes and songs since 2004. The humility, common sense and respectability is the ultimate trademark of B.D. and LoKi Productions. You won't hear a vibe quite like this any where else.
Fun facts: BD is related to Snoop Dogg and is also DoTcOm's cousin.
LoKi Productions is the next big thing to happen in the life of music.
The mistake that music made was fueling the passion of this group because that means its a w(rap), pun intended, for everyone else. Unless of course your down for colabs or just vibing. We appreciate and produce all types of music and we look forward to working with others who share the same passion.
