Performer, Piano girl,singer/songwriter Lauren can fall into the category "what's on my mind - for the first and third person."
Lauren comments, "I tell MY stories, and I Tell THEIR stories, and I'll even randomly write about that apple," being musically inspired by genres of everything in between.
Born and raised into a musical family, her father played in a band, her brother a former member of an r&b group, and her mother played piano/keys.
Currrently studying Early Childhood Music Education, Lauren understands the importance of music in children's lives.
"Not only does music help everyone therapeutically, but it's amazing what music does for children developmentally."
In the hopes of getting her EP together, Lauren is simply just trying to get herself out there and be heard through open mics and small shows.
"Collaborating with and just being in the presence of experienced musicians, helps me learn every single step of the way through these experiences...and I'm thankful for that."
Lauren had the priviledge of sharing the acoustic stage with rock band Rise for order, as well as Nathan Down.
Lauren finishes off with,
"I want to play lilith fair someday. That's it. That's my dream."
