Bio: Ken Macy

Central Massachusetts independent recording artist Ken Macy is a hard working, passionate musician. In the past several years, Ken has recoded five original CD's and has played at hundreds of venues throughout New England.

He has won four Worcester Music Awards including "Best CD: "What If ...", "Best Blues Act"(twice) and "Best Solo Act". Ken also had his original music featured on 92.5 FM the River's "Home Grown Radio Show", 106.3 Frank FM, Pixy 103, Carter Alan's Sunday Morning Blues Show on Boston's 100.7 FM WZLX and on TV: NECN New England Cable News.

His musical style ranges from the sounds of John Fogerty (Creedence Clearwarter Revival) and Tom Petty to The Eagles and The Black Crowes. His live show is energetic, fun and upbeat. Ken's powerful vocals and distinctive guitar playing are what makes his performances memorable. Ken is now a proud user/endorser of Celestial Effects guitar pedals made in Hudson MA.
