Mr. Kal Royale was born 4/16/79 in The Bronx,N.Y. He soon relocated at the young age five to North Carolina .....where all the magic began. Mr. Royale knew that at an early age that music would play a major part in his life. In a recent interview, Mr. Royale stated "that when he was 3, he would wake out of his sleep and crawl under his mothers night stand , to slumber under the clock radio that was on top of it. He stated that the radio was always on a soulful station, and that he would awake the next day humming those tunes all day long". His first solo came soon after when he was 7 years of age at his local church, where he sang," I Made A Vow to the Lord." He remembers singing to some of his adolescent girlfriends over the phone to woo them over. He is also responsible for forming a known local movement / artist group known as "The Majestic Kingz Kartel". Always a leader, never a follower, Kal Royale set trends and became a prominent innovator at the age of 14. Not to mention, a well developed lyricist / poet. Since then, his voice has matured and has captured the hearts of many. His soulful crooning has dubbed him North Carolina's "Muddy Soul Man", winning such accolades as Best R&B Artist at the Charlotte Music Awards. His voice is powerful and magnetic, and a sure crowd pleaser amongst the ladies". Mr. Royale has many,many influences, and the one that stands out the most is Mr. Ron Isley, who is a legend in his own right. Mr. Royale has capabilities unparallel to the artist of today, as he prides on his old school feel, with a new school attitude.
