Hello my name is Imani and I am a singer and songwriter and entertainer as well as an actress and model , We have toured and performed thru out S.E Asia and India and the UK as well as the US

I can perform for any and all of your up coming events . We also offer a 4-6 piece band complete with horn section and string section with dancers and background vocalist depending on what is needed for the event and or venue

We also use our own original material for most venues and for those very special events . So please contact me I am not only the lead vocalist but the band leader as well

Look for our upcoming tour this Summer thru late fall of 2008 to the UK and SE Asia by fan request and look for my up coming album to be released mid to late summer and my movie debut coming out this winter lord willing see you in the theaters .

Imani has been influenced by musical legends such as Mahalia Jackson, Chaka Khan, Gladys Knight and Patti La belle. Aretha Franklyn
Imani quickly credits God for her all of her many successes ,acheivements and strengths.

Classically Trained Imani was trained by Gloria Den nard of "The Manna House" fame at a young age and has since flourished into her own fame performing Off Broadway in Porgie and Bess
Little Abner and Guys and Dolls.

Imani also opened and performed for many outstanding popular platinum artist As the opening act for many prominent artists Imani has made headlines in local news papers as well as magazines publishings outlining her extraordinary performances and or independent recordings .

Imani started as a young child, enabling her to perform on live television, stage, and studio. Imani's Early Training Graduate of the High School of Music & Arts, New York, NY Major: Voice, piano, and music theory Attended New York's City College, NY Major: Business Management. and Pre law Imani's Experience and Industry Recognition Talent Show Winner in category of singer/performer for:
Children's Musical Theater, New York, NY * Christ Baptist Church, New York, NY * Manhattan Schools Competition, Manhattan, NY *

Cast in New York productions of Lil' Abner, Porgy Bess, Guys & Dolls *
Featured bi-weekly on Channel 2 television production of Kids World,
and recorded two songs on their Christmas album, "Ave Maria- White Christmas."
Imani was also a singer for Cable Network's Channel B as Well.
She performed as a regular vocalist on Kids World CBS Channel 2 at New York's Honey Suckle Lounge (formerly Sweet Water's), Village Gate, Red Lion, etc. Model for Elite Modeling Agency, New York, Carnegie Hall
She also Performed at the historical Carnegie Recital Hall, New York. She made special appearances at the Peppermint Lounge, Orange , NJ, Boogies and Club 88, East Orange, NJ.
Imani also performed in and thru out new york city ,at the renowned Blue note , 40/40's lounge ,the fushion club
The band has also performed behind the legendary intruders, the Manhattans, the persuaders ,and the group of Blue Magic

Imani and the band is presently in the studio recording. Imani's Experience and Industry Recognition * * Imani was gratefully acknowledged by the New Jersey Star Ledger for her performance as the opening act for the Famous Commodores music group.and compared to Whitney Houston vocally * Opened for Ted Mills, former lead of the popular Blue Magic R&B group. *

She Started writing songs at nine years old have so far has written in excess of 200 songs. You will be given an opportunity to listen to some of Imani's soulful compositions on her CD. Much of her compositions are inspirational. "
