About Hunit Stackz

Baltimore, MD

Having grown up in Baltimore, Hunit Stackz has been penning rhymes since the age of thirteen and recording music since he was fourteen. Now, at the age of twenty-four, he is an accomplished musical artist. Performing mainly on the underground scene, he has several mixtape features under his belt. He is also part of the movement known as “Baltimore Block Boyz.” aka "Block Boy Gang" Formerly of Charm City Records, they are now under Block Boy Music Inc. For his solo acts, Hunit Stackz label, company, and brand are all classified under Rebel Royale Ent. Stackz’ familiarity with Baltimore—particularly Park Heights, Cherry Hill, and Claremont Projects—plays into his music. He strives to make music that will hit home with his listeners and touch them on a personal level. He would like his audience to be able to reflect on their own similar experiences while sharing his own. Hunit Stackz’ style of music is entirely his. He takes whatever comes into his head and develops it into a masterpiece. His life experiences coat each of his songs, giving them a deep personal touch. Though he has a preference for organized material as opposed to freestyle-type music, he may release one or two of the latter category if the mood strikes him. Stackz songwriting abilities go beyond being par for the course. He puts himself into his music and writes about events that are relative for many listeners. He talks about real life issues and speaks to his audience, creating a picturesque view with his lyrics. He constantly works to separate himself from the ordinary. He has a style of his own and aims to be different from the other rappers hatched from Baltimore. One of Stackz’ major influences is Jadakiss, whom he believes to be lyrically clever. He also finds rapper Biggie Smalls and his own peer, Backland, to be very influential. When he is not writing or in the studio, Hunit Stackz is promoting his music and engineering. He endeavors to be known for the ingenuity he has applied to the promotional schemes to get his music heard. Above all, it is important for Stackz to remember his roots while simultaneously achieving musical greatness. He hopes to inspire any number of his listeners and considers himself a success if he can reach out to even one person.
