'High Child' is: Spud MacBain (lvocals, guitars) and Alex (additional racket). The band was formed almost a decade ago at school.
Following an extremely low-budget album (recorded using two minidiscs), the band recorded and produced three 'demo' albums and sold them while busking around the UK. To date, over 10,000 CDs have been sold this way since 2003.
Following a couple of new drummers, the band made the shift from recording on a 16-track mini home studio to recording on a computer. The new album, 'Yesterday Today', was influenced by 60s pop and 90s rock, and it came third in the "Music Connection Magazine - Top 25 'New Music Critiques of 2008'".
