Currently hailing from Westport, Connecticut, Canyon. is a self-proclaimed “Song Peddler and Storyteller...”. Playing acoustic guitar and writing lyrically driven Indie/Folk songs, she has taken a confessional storytelling approach with all of her written works. Accompanied by long-time friend Andrew Maturana who provides percussion on Cajon and haunting vocal harmonies, they form a uniquely compelling duo. Influenced by the likes of Cat Stevens and Tracy Chapman, and whose namesake comes from lyrics in Neil Young’s song Thrasher, their folk roots are undeniable.

After competing in the 2010 The Break Contest, Canyon. was the only acoustic act to be selected to perform at the Bamboozle Festival which boasted an estimated attendance of 20,000. So far in 2011, she has performed at The Swan Day 2011 Festival in East Hartford, CT, The Launch 2011 Conference and Festival in Lancaster, PA and is confirmed for The Montauk Music Festival May 12th-15th.

Canyon. is currently in the studio recording her full length follow-up CD to the 2010 EP Aeroplanes & Astronauts, and will be touring nationwide throughout 2011.
