About Half Demon Doll
Minneapolis, MN
Half Demon Doll is an all-girl four piece rock band hailing from Minneapolis, MN. Their unique sound weaves alternative rock, pop and punk together. They met in 2007 at Girls Rock n Roll Retreat, a rock camp for girls held every summer in Minneapolis.
In November 2008, Half Demon Doll ventured to NYC and won the Rock Meets the Runway contest held at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square. It was hosted by Stevie Van Zandt's label, Wicked Cool Records, and Teen Vogue.
In addition, Half Demon Doll has performed all around the state of Minnesota since their first gig together at rock camp. Noteworthy shows include their multiple performances at the MN State Fair, First Avenue, Station 4, Fine Line Music Cafe, 400 Bar, and the Stone Arch Music Festival, in addition to many others.
The band recently released their debut album, "Masquerade on Wednesday", recorded at CoreSource Productions in Minneapolis, MN. You can also catch them giving back to the community every summer as junior counselors and performers at Girls Rock n Roll Retreat, the camp where they got their start three years ago.
