About Giovanni
Fort Worth, TX
Giovanni (Born Christopher Blake) is a recording, performing artist, producer, songwriter and CEO of indie label Is It Live Records/ L.U.C. Productions, which he founded in 2005. Born and Raised in Fort Worth, TX, Giovanni was raised with a musical background, playing piano, drums, and singing in his church home as a teenager. The 26 year old aspiring artist has always had a passion for hip-hop and R&B, freestyle battling and writing his own music since the age of 11.
Soon after enlisting in the U.S. Army and returning home from serving in Iraq, he began pursuing his music career releasing mixtapes, opening performances, producing and songwriting for other local artists.
Giovanni will release his official mixtape "Everybody Hates Chris" in June 2011 and plans to release his debut album "Fort Worth The Wait" Fall 2011. A lyrical force to be reckoned with and R&B potential, Giovanni is determined to make a name in the music industry.
