About Finnegan Bell
Charlotte, NC
Michael Shane has been connected to the big picture of music for quite some time. First, as the decade long singer/songwriter for the SouthEast's premeire indy college folk band, Silers Bald, who turned major label in 2003 (Essential/Sony/BMG)) & then road-wearily disbanded in 2006 after clocking nearly 2,000 shows in under 9 years! **Shane spent the next couple years writing and living in Nashville, still one of his favorite places on the planet, and quickly decided to put a 5-song, small budget solo project out before leaving the great city and returning to his beloved Carolinas. Thus was born "Finnegan Bell" and the EP "The Ending Of It All." **Finnegan Bell, taken from Ethan Hawke's depiction of the protagonist of the same name from the film adaptation of the great classic Great Expectations, is best described as Nashville-pop infused folk rock. Having spent the 4 years prior to the creation of the EP in the great city of music, "I was definitely influenced by what can only occur in a city so rich and alive with melody." **Check it out @ myspace.com/finneganbellonline or finneganbell.com and coming soon, michaelshane.com. **Peace**
