Emily Martin

Emily Martin grew up in Denver, Colorado and has been composing music and playing guitar since 2001.

In 2002 Emily made the move to Las Vegas to pursue a degree in Accounting at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. While engaged in her studies, Emily amassed a lengthy catalog of self-composed, reflective songs that have a knack for captivating audiences with her soulful voice and from the heart lyrics. In 2006 Emily moved to New York City to be closer to her sister and continue her education at Hunter College. While in NYC, Emily contributed lead vocals and guitar to the band Step Closer, performing at venues around the city. After her sister's move to Europe, Emily returned to Las Vegas to complete her degree. She continues to compose and perform and is inspired by such artists as Jewel and Ani DiFranco.
