About Elliott Small

Las Vegas, NV

Miles Davis co-arranger Randy Hall recruited Elliott as vocalist in a CD production. Among other things, Randy Hall co-arranged the gold Miles Davis album, The Man With the Horn. Miles Davis' daughter, Cheryl Davis wrote the Lyrics for all of Elliott's and Randy's songs here on OurStage.com. Randy is much younger than the other brilliant Miles alumni like Quincy Jones and Herbie Hancock and should eventually achieve the same stature. As an Environmental Song, one of the tracks, "Our World" merges Elliott's electric car and music endeavors. Use the videos link at http://potentialdifference.com to see a 10 second tire screeching video of the 5 passenger luxury all-electric car and a music video of "Our World," which is also here at OurStage.com. The video was screened at Harvard University on May 30, 2009 as an introduction to Al Gore's speech, receiving rave response from Al Gore and the audience, and later the staff at Al Gore's Nashville office.

On Saturday, October 17, Elliott sang with international saxophonist icon Archie Shepp at the Theatre de Chelles in Paris, France. It was well received. In a recent email Mr. Shepp said, "Once again it was a super pleasure to hear you sing."

Elliott Small is a Harvard College graduate in Biochemical Sciences, owner of an electric car company which has created one of America's leading all-electric car prototypes, and an elected Obama delegate at the 2008 Democratic National Convention.

Elliott has performed at venues in Washington, DC before moving to Las Vegas in 2007 and has had cover songs played on the radio there numerous times. Elliott was selected to perform in the WPFW Radio Spring Jazz Showcase Concert Series, Friday, June 15, 2007, Lubber Run Amphitheater. The station manager was elated by the performance and thought that it made his night, and the audience was quite delighted. A member of the WPFW board said, "you were amazing!"
