Di'Anne Thompson is a new artist straight from New Haven CT. She is 17 years old, and has been writing since the age of 10, and singing for as long as she can remember. Di'Anne's style of music as far as listening is DIVERSE. She listens to Soft Rock, Reggae to Hip Hop to R&B! But her own indiviual style is R&B and Hip Hop connected with other genres. As far as her writing goes, she has often been compared to Diane Warren. Di'Anne's music speaks the TRUTH about life in general. She always infuses R&B in her music. Which adds a SOULFUL touch to her sound. The difference between her and other artists are that, Di'Anne Thompson writes from her heart. And another good thing about her is that she is a true good hearted person. Her heart is as big as her song book. She has always been known as a very SELFLESS person. She has been giving to various local fundraisers and hopes to keep it up, and move it around the world with this goal. She loves the glamour side of life too. But don't let that fool you she is a DEEP person. Everything she does she plans out. "From looking at me it seems that I am a regular teen. But when you get to know me deeper there will be a huge change in your judgement. I am a singer, songwriter as well as an entertainer. I take great pride in my work. I only do what I feel is right. And this doesn't just go for my music this is how I takle life. I only write songs about situations I have been through or have seen someone else go through. My view on the situation is what I write about. I also try to write from both sides. I only write these types of songs because I feel them more. Nothing is better than feeling in music. I should say nothing more important than feeling. This is why I take the position that I do when speaking on music." Taking time to write material for herdemo, Di'Anne explains her key to songwriting. “It’s about reaching out to as many people as possible. Young, old, fat, skinny, tall, or even short people. I’m 16 years old, and just coming into being a teen puts me in this honest ora. But writing is just one part of who I am. There are many different sides of me"
