Dollah Jones, a.k.a. Hip Hop’s Hype-Man, is kinetic energy, lyrical ingenuity and undeniable swagger all wrapped into one. The rapper/songwriter/producer has a style that is unquestionably all his own and is ready to take his place rightful place in world wide heavy rotation.

Hailing from the city of Detroit, where true hip hop lives, Dollah Jones has tamed crowds from the church to the club with his charismatic flow and energetic stage performances.

With certified hits like Get Down, Bang It, and Gualla, Jones has shown that he knows what it takes to seamlessly fuse true lyricism with catchy hooks that are guaranteed to make even the most cynical of critics bob their heads in approval. No gimmicks, no perpetrating, no pretence; just good music.

“My rap style is diverse,” said Jones, “It’s a combination of different styles with similarities to such artist as Eminem, Ludacris, T.I., Bone Thugs N Harmony and Snoop. Mix them all together making one super artist: Dollah Jones. Besides the way I rap, another thing that sets me apart from other artists is that I don't use a whole lot of profanity and foul language in my music and my choice of lyrical content.”

With an iron drive and the work ethic to match, Dollah has had several songs placed in heavy radio rotation, headlined major school tours, and has recently gained placements on nationally syndicated MTV shows. In 2008, he was voted metro Detroit’s Favorite Hometown Urban Artist and was the recipient of FM 98 WJLB’s esteemed Golden Mic People’s Choice Award.

In addition to his tireless music grind, his philanthropic efforts have gone above and beyond to help those in need. In recent years he has helped to raise over $55,000 for charity, more than 175,000 pounds of canned good for the homeless, and has spoken to over 100,000 students to encourage them to pursue education and live drug free.
