Country music recording artist extraordinaire! With vibrant performances and vocals like no other, hers is an act you won’t want to miss!
Beginning with a solo performance at the Cleary Auditorium in Windsor, Ontario at only six years of age, she hasn’t stopped since! An eager participant in school and church choirs, as well as school musicals, she can now be seen in many of Calgary and area’s hottest music venues. In the last year alone she has performed in the Deerfoot, Grey Eagle and Great Northern casinos, as well as, The Brooks Hotel, Country Roads Saloon, Dicks Pub and Grille and many more!
Denni-Lee is a true and natural talent! Her love and enthusiasm for music are clearly seen both on stage and off. She began writing songs as a teen and has since written over 100 songs!
In 2004, Denni-Lee decided it was time to go pro. She increased her live performances and honed in on her songwriting. In 2007 she took her song “Boy Toy” to Dale Wiens to be recorded. From there, Denni-Lee continued on to record five more singles with Gary Trithart. One of those songs “Last Night as Single” earned her a spot on Mark Trail Productions CD, “29th Compilation” and is still being played throughout Europe, Australia, Japan, New Zealand and select regions of North America! Later, in 2009, the same song was selected for Quickstar Productions compilation CD, “Countrified,” which will soon appear for sale on such sites as itunes, Napster, Amazon, Rhapsody and more!
Most recently, Denni-Lee has been back in the studio working with Kevin Lato – Producer, recording her debut album. “Reflections” is an album reminiscent of eras gone by, coupled with a contemporary feel, unique unto itself.
With Rosanne Cash and Patsy Cline meets Terri Clark and Kim Carne vocals – melodies, both soulful and fun - and lyrics that show her ability to look into the lives of others in a realistic and empathetic way, her music is not only relatable to the listener, but sung with such feeling and energy as to not only grab the attention, but retain it as well!
As Denni-Lee herself puts it, “Songwriting is the expression of one’s soul – lyrically and melodically.” Nothing could be truer in explaining this artist’s work. She is a class act all the way!
