daniel antoine

Accomplished keyboard player (Rhodes piano, Hammond organs...), Daniel, it is first of all a voice that gives big shudders, a sort of reincarnation of Screamin' Jay Hawkins with an American French accent. He is based in Toulouse, south of France, but he is a great live traveler who played across the world in thousand places, touring notably these past years with the famous Irish band "The Commitments".

Daniel bathed, thanks to his father, in the sweet soup of jazz, soul, blues and funk, amongst some of the best black American musicians when they were living at a certain time on the French Riviera. His life, all his life, is about music.
