About coyotelineman

Bremen, GA

Brandon Wylie is a simple blue collar guy with a passion for music. Brandon was born and raised in Douglasville, Georgia and has made a career out of being an electrical lineman while refining his musical abilities. Brandon's love and foundation of music began at a very young age. He recalls getting on stage with his grandfather, Atlanta Country Music Hall of Fame inductee Hughie Wylie, at Bluegrass Festivals as young as 3 and 4 years old. He discovered his passion for singing when he was just 6, and started playing the guitar at 21. Brandon's striking voice has been compared to such greats as Waylon Jennings and Hank Williams Jr. Through the years, Brandon has had the opportunity to play many Southeastern venues including, The Georgia World Congress Center, the North Georgia State Fair and Brothers Bar in Jacksonville, Alabama.

Brandon’s most prominent musical influences include Merle Haggard, the Eagles, and Garth Brooks. Cutting his teeth on old country songs, as well as rock and roll classics from such artists as, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bob Seger, and John Mellencamp, has played a part in defining his style. Brandon states, "I would never define myself as simply rock or country, but a mixture of many styles. I simply like to play good music no matter where it originated." Brandon is currently recording his first full length solo album scheduled to be released in late 2009.
