The CCS Crew or (Cultivating Creative Sound Crew) started in 1999 Smoking Kinds and writing rymes, recording on cassette tapes with an awia boom box, and doing local Rap battles against each other for fun. Their friend and crew member Joseph Hernandez (Wobbly Pop) was their producer making their beats and helping to get shows for the group.
