The BoonDoxx

The BoonDoxx is a rap group from Frederick, MD about 45 minutes outside of Washington, DC. They embody a style and creativity of there own, which really sets them apart from other duos. The Group consists of first cousins Mack and G-Dot, Who begun recording music back in the late 90s just for fun in there Grandmother's basement. The music was well received by classmates and friends. The tapes began to become a popular request throughout the area. The Duo later put there rap dreams on hold figuring that it was nothing more than a hobby.
The BoonDoxx influences include a number of artist’s and groups such as; Outkast, UGK, Jay-Z, Big L, and the Clipse to name a few.

The BoonDoxx currently finished there mix tape titled "Crush tha Competition" . With songs that shows the groups creativity, and diversity with tracks such as “Real Bad” which uses a sample from Kanye West (This is Bad; Real Bad Michael Jackson) from the Kari Hilson single. The mix tape also includes song such as “See me Rollin” which shows the groups range. Tracks are mixed and produced by the group. They provide a a breath of fresh air from today's typical artist, who’s style tends to resemble an already established artist. Everything is original from there uplifting and catchy rhyme schemes, to hooks and lyrics that relate to “Real Life”.
