Portrait of Bonnie Ste-Croix

About Bonnie Ste-Croix

Vancouver, Canada

On the cusp of a career highlight cross-Canada Recording Tour beginning July 2010 Bonnie Ste-Croix is reeling with delight at being a contender in the Lilith Fair Local Talent Search.

Inspired by her countless air and road trips across Canada Bonnie Ste-Croix birthed an idea that morphed into a major Canadian music project. "I feel like the I've covered this ground (or air) (across Canada) so many times--I have it deep in my bones...so I wanted to do something musically as a reflection of that. The idea being that all of Canada has really been my
'hometown' and I wanted to have pieces of it embedded in my musical history through an album."

So, with that, the artist has organized a recording tour to be done while she drives across Canada, recording one song in each Province for a new album that will be released in January 2011. "I have invited amazing Canadian artists that I have enjoyed/will enjoy working with to record with me and be part of this national music journey of mine. It will be a celebration of this amazing land we live on, it history, its people and its artists."

The famous SIX STRING NATION GUITAR has been confirmed and will be used when recording the album. http://www.sixstringnation.com/ Artists who are joining Ste-Croix on the ablum are some of Canada's greatest talents and a media release in late June will unveil the names and other other details of the project.

"Of all the things I've done musically in my life, this is the project that feels the most meaningful." Inspired by the resilience of her Mother overcoming a critical illness, Ste-Croix says, "...it made me realize, life if short and you need to reach out and try to create the things you want to be part of-if we all waited to be asked, no one at the prom would dance."

All this tops her career and success with her last three ablums
