The Bleeding Bladders were a big deal in the 1980's Long Island underground punk scene, playing venues like Sparks in Huntington and February's in Elmont. The band made a still-unreleased record until various addictions forced the band to break up in 1992, following a bizzare show in the Netherlands.
Soon to be the subject of a documentary, the Bleeding Bladders have produced a video for their anti-animal violence tune, "I Wanna Kill Your Canary" in July, 2009.
