About Big Remote
Big Remote began in late 2008 as a songwriting collaboration between Steven Larkins (guitar) and Eric Foreman (bass). Six months later, Jon Cornell (keyboards) and Don Morrison (drums) joined the band. In just over a year, the band has found success on the Reno music scene, playing at some of Reno's largest venues, including the Knitting Factory and the Reno River Festival. Big Remote's music has been described as Indie Rock with strains of Americana and pop sensibilities. They are currently working on their first album, tentatively scheduled for release in the winter of 2011.
