About Antonio Long

Antonio Long, a Baltimore native who later moved to Prince George's County Maryland, realized his musical talent at an early age. Antonio's desire to explore his musical talent increased significantly while he participated in his high school's chorus.
Antonio has traveled throughout the United States and Bahamas performing various genres of music such as Classical, Gospel, Jazz, Folk Songs, Spirituals, Pop etc for diverse audiences and dignitaries. He's shared the stage with gospel artist such as Edwin Hawkins, Earnest Pugh, Kirk Franklin, Minister Byron Cage and Monique Walker.
Antonio's love for music grew and was cultivated under the leadership of Dr. Nathan Carter at Morgan State University where he participated in the Morgan State University Choir. However, it wasn't until Antonio developed a relationship with Jesus Christ that his passion for Music Ministry was discovered.
In 2006 Antonio began to develop his God given ability to write music. Over the years He's grown as a writer and believes he has something meaningful, encouraging and prophetic to share with his listeners.
In Antonio's adulthood he's served as a worship leader, musician and Minister of music in several local churches. His passion for true worship is apparent and his desire to create an atmosphere of sincere praise is refreshing.
Antonio's sound is anything but "cookie-cutter," and will move a listener to desire an encounter with God. It's believed that his transparency, meaningful lyrics and smooth vocals are sure to capture the ear of his listening audience.
Antonio's goal is to uplift and encourage every listener through the word of his testimony put to song.
His desire is that by his testimony individuals will overcome and be compelled to seek after a deeper relationship with God. His purpose over all is to see people lives changed and their hearts turned to Jesus Christ.
Antonio Long's debut CD "I Yield" is set to be released in the Spring 2011.
