Worship is a vital part of each moment we live. Essentially, whatever captivates us and holds our affection is what we worship. People worship many things. For some of us, the object of our worship is fame or fortune. For others, the focus of our worship is seeking attention, affection, or approval. But, no matter what we devote ourselves to worshiping, there is only One worthy of our affection and attention. It is through worship that we experience the nature of God, hear Him speak to us, and become passionate, devoted followers of Christ. Worship happens every time our attention is directed toward our Heavenly Father. Whether it's singing, praying, reading Scripture, quiet meditation, listening to the Word being preached, or ministering to others in need, we worship each time we commune with God.
Worship is designed to be a process of revelation, response, and sharing. As God reveals Himself to us, we respond to Him. This happens when we praise Him for His greatness, confess to Him our failures, or respond in any way to what He has shown us. Every time God reveals Himself, we should have a genuine response. Once this response happens, the process of revelation and response is made complete by our sharing. We pass along what God has given to us through ministry to others and testimony of what God has done in our lives. This brings our experience of worship full circle and this process is continuous in our lives.
For Jennifer and I, the attention and affection of our lives is wholly devoted to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Because of that, we believe God has uniquely gifted, called, and trained us to teach others what worship is about and to be instruments used to create an atmosphere where others can draw near to God together. First and foremost, we are worshipers ourselves and we treasure the opportunity and privilege of guiding others to draw near to God in worship through music. This page is just a small part of our response and sharing process of worship. We hope you enjoy the music and be sure to send us a message-we would love to hear from you.
