"Music" was written as a love song to the music of yesterday that my parents raised me on. From Aretha Franklin, Patty LaBelle, Stevie Wonder, Luther Vandross, and so many others, theirs is the music that influenced me and still has an impact. This song pays homage to the sounds that helped raise me as well as those that are still keeping the flame alive today.

I was competing in the Nashville channel for Lilith..decided to listen to some of the other channels, heard this and LOVED it. Voted for it. Glad you came in 1st, best song in my opinion!
