If my days never change

If I never seem to move forward

How will I ever see progress?

Will I ever be who I wanted to?

I've been trying my whole life

to be a good person

but the everyday struggle has changed my views

And nothing is ever what it seems.

There's no care in this world from anyone

And I have never been so lost with where I am going

Though I may not know my place in this world

I know who I am

My distaste for this world

and everyone I thought I knew

has put disgust back into my eves

the same hate from my youth

When everyone and everything

is changing around me

I guess I'll just stick to myself

the only one with the truth

Never finding out what lies ahead

Pain, deceit, and lies

just misfortune

If we all just change with the seasons

then I guess I'm not of this world

These seasons change

but I stay the same

Through the heat and through the cold

that leaves us sick and tired, it gets old

I will never forfeit my morals to the way we move along in this world

And I never thought things woud get like this

but I guess its just the way everything works

Everyone shows the truth in the end

but through my trials I have found greatness

I have found who I never want to become

and I will strive to keep my ways of never swaying with the wind

Of just trying to fit where I don't belong

I don't have much to show

or a lot to brag about

but I have a mind of nobility

And I will never change my ways

I'd rather watch this world swallow me whole

If my days never change

If I never seem to move forward
