Thanx Karl, I believe Relief is more towards grunge and alternartive rock, but indie rock is a genre of alternative rock that originated in the United Kingdom and the United States in the 1980s. Indie rock is extremely diverse, with sub-genres that include indie popgrungejangle popC86, and lo-fi, among others. Originally used to describe record labels, the term became associated with the music they produced and was initially used interchangeably withalternative rock. As grunge and punk revival bands in the US, and then Britpop bands in the UK, broke into the mainstream in the 1990s, it came to be used to identify those acts that retained an outsider and underground and less testosterone-driven perspective. In the 2000s, as a result of changes in the music industry and the growing importance of the Internet, a number of indie rock acts began to enjoy commercial success, leading to questions about its meaningfulness as a term

So please keep it straight

Agree with sebbie. It definatly drags on and on even though it is good. You could cut an entire minute if you cut the entire intro and would have that great effect of vocals entering before instruments and have ur intro behind the vocals so drums aren't in until the chorus. Good Luck

Great sound...

This is great music. This is the definition of modern rock. I agree that intro is not radio friendly cause of length but radio friendly songs are anyway boring to anyone who understands a music just a bit. Keep pushing!

Too long. Good tones though.

Like light, life will end to glow
Oh dear mother, where did my childhood go
It just seems to me there is no harmony
I’m getting older, is it all over, forever

Time it’s behind
can’t be found in my mind
Please let me believe
there is relief for me.

Like dreams the future will awake
Passing present, no matter which road I take
Such stress compress my air to fully breath
Will we ever get together another

Time it’s behind can’t be
found in my mind
Please let me believe
there is relief for me.

Very good song! Solid instrumentation, solid songwriting, solid vocals. I wish the vocals were a tad bit more forward in the mix, you have a great singer there, no need to hide him in the music. The ending is great, I wish with that one vocal line was more forward than the others. Overall, I'm glad I listened to the whole song. Very good. I felt that the minute long intro was a little much. For the purposes of Ourstage, you will probably want to shorten it considerably, people expect the vocals to start right away or shortly into 15 seconds. I'd say 30 seconds for this genre. Otherwise great song, well done!
