I actually thought it sounded pretty good. I guess I am glad I am blessed with just average ears. It must really suck not to enjoy most of the music you hear because of flawed recordings that only a select few can distinguish
Cheers to us average folk Tony Greg

Re- Conway Potshot
Gee, I should have put "LOL" at the end of my comment. ( Just a personal dislike of anything Mackie). I agree the mix is poor as i realise this was my first attempt at "doing it in the box" with a mix i did at a studio and adding vocals at home.. A few hard lessons there !! LOL. (That's a shot at myself... not anyone else)I did this track about 12 months or so ago. perhaps i should redo it.. then maybe not. I believe that its done quite well this month for a while and i'm happy with that. As i'm not out for world domination or bunches of flowers or ladies knickers, I'm content to just test myself against the rest of what i see as a mostly humble, centered bunch of musos from many backgrounds who are like minded. Feel free to email me at to discuss "sounds" but don't comment in this forum to me until you have at least a profile pic!
Regards TR.

I guess you're the only one picking it to pieces
Other peeps here seem to have enjoyed can I say.I think I'm going to go with the majority Conway
Thanks to you guys who managed to see past the "apparent" poor production.

This is very good. But I'm puzzled how you mixed all the instrumentation and BGs so well, but the lead vox seems like it was recorded with a 58 through a Mackie PA. What happened?

LOVE the B3. Great organic rock sound. Bounces along, fun, gritty.
