Ok, first off, awesome guitar work. I think you could will do much better in another genre though. This is not ethereal, nor layered, nor what modern rock sounds like...its guitar, bass, and drums. A kickass instrumental rock track, no doubt, and as a guitarist I totally respect your ability to tear up the fretboard, but its not necessarily what judges of this category find interesting. Keep shreding it up though, it was a nice break for me.
