PlayJoey

by Meredith Shaw

Shaw's sound is a feel good cross between Cyndi Lauper and Lucinda Williams. A little bit pop, a little bit country, and a whole lot of passion. Her live show gets people's feet tapping but also gives their hearts a soft place to fall.
JOEY is a playful Bo Diddley throw back that uses gritty imagery to describe how the "pretty boy" we fall for doesn't always grow up to be the man of dreams. JOEY speaks to love, the strength one can gain with perspective and the smile that nostalgia can bring.
